Inspiration: the sketchbook of Kerby Rosanes.

January 29, 2015

I have been following the work of Kerby Rosanes for a while. He is a young Philippines-based illustrator, although I think “doodler” describes his work better.

I have seen a lot of doodle art, but his is unlike anything I’ve seen before. So beautifully busy, whimsical, and perfectly three-dimensional, only using a black pen, and the occasional white pencil. It makes me want to pick up one of my many sketchbooks lying around and start doodling.

Here is some of his work. The rest, and more about him on his website: Kerby Rosanes.
